About Rebuild Over 50
A journey that began with one important question.
What can we do today to improve our chances of staying healthy, strong, and independent as we grow older?
That question became the foundation of Rebuild Over 50.
Why We Started Rebuild Over 50
After moving into an apartment building where residents must be over 50, we began thinking more seriously about the years ahead.
We still felt much younger than the label on the building suggested. Yet daily life there gave us a closer view of the very different ways people can experience later life.
Some people remained active, energetic, socially engaged, and independent. Others struggle with declining health, reduced mobility, or a loss of confidence.
We did not look at anyone with judgement. We looked at ourselves and asked what our own future might become.
Can the choices we make now influence how we live ten, twenty, or thirty years from today?
Rather than simply wondering, we decided to begin learning. Rebuild Over 50 is the result of that decision.
Who We Are

We are Claudia & Michael, a couple over 50 who want to make the most of the years ahead.
We are not doctors, dietitians, fitness professionals, or health gurus. We are people asking many of the same questions as our viewers and readers.
We make mistakes, test ideas, change our minds, and continue learning. That is part of the point.
We hope people relate to us because we are not presenting a perfect transformation. We are working through the practical realities of improving our health, strength, habits, and outlook in ordinary life.
Our Approach
We do not claim to have all the answers.
We ask questions, examine the available evidence, learn from reputable sources, and distinguish personal experience from established knowledge.
We are interested in evidence rather than hype, sustainable habits rather than quick fixes, and practical ideas that can make a meaningful difference over time.
When the evidence is uncertain, we will say so. When we learn something new, we will be willing to reconsider what we previously believed.
Our goal is not perfection. Our goal is continual improvement.
Our Mission
To help adults over 50 rebuild their health, strength, and confidence through honest conversations, practical ideas, and evidence-informed information.
We want Rebuild Over 50 to become a useful, trustworthy place for people who are thinking seriously about the years ahead but do not want fear, hype, or unrealistic promises.
If our work helps someone take one constructive step towards better health, greater strength, improved confidence, or more independence, it has served a worthwhile purpose.
